Quick Tip Tuesday - Cut those Rings

Plastic rings are almost unavoidable. Even when shopping for alternative packaging (ex. glass) you often find yourself with a plastic lid and ring. These rings are extremely dangerous for wildlife. Many birds get chocked out due to these rings wrapping around their neck.

A solution for this: CUT THOSE RINGS. While it's not perfect and does not get rid of the plastic crisis it can save a life.

I personally just keep my plastic rings just to reuse and to keep for an experiment I am working on to calculate hidden wasteful items. Whatever you do know that your actions matter and by you taking an extra second to simply cut that ring... you can be saving a life.
