Ingredients:

+ 1/4 cup beeswax

+ 1/4 cup coconut oil

+ 1/4 cup shea butter

+ 15-20 drops essential oil of your choice

Step 1: Melt the beeswax in a double boiler.

Step 2: Add in the coconut oil and shea butter to the bowl of melted beeswax and melt altogether.

Step 3: Let cool slightly and add your essential oils.

Step 4: Transfer to molds and let completely cool.

* To ensure the bar holds its shape you can also let set in the freezer for about 30 minutes.

About the ingredients:

Shea butter: it’s a natural skin super food derived from the african shea tree as a fat and is commonly used for protecting and moisturizing skin. It can also reduce skin swelling helping to treat things like eczema.

Coconut oil: A personal favourite of mine and is a great moisturizer as well as source of antioxidant vitamin E.

Beeswax: It is the “binding ingredient” that pulls the bar together and is all natural so no toxic chemicals!
